Being 16 was a blast experience. All those lessons that I've learnt and taught are valuable and priceless. The inevitable ups and downs of life that I need to experience had surely made me a better person. I made new friends and lose some. I gained some height and shed some weight. hahaha. And being 16 has made me to understand better the truly deepest meaning of friendship. Its good to know that you're constantly surrounded by caring people. These sixteen years of age have also widen my thoughts and my opinions about certain matters. Being 16 also made you realised about what matters and what doesn't.
I'm looking forward for the years ahead that are already laid before me. (:
Lets put that matter aside alright.
1. A 2007 planner with colourful orgasmic covers.
2. A diary
and a notebook with colourful orgasmic covers.
3. Little Face by Sophie Hannah
4. The Devil's Feather by Minette Walters
5. The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai
6. Mitch Albom's books ( For One More Day, The 5 People You Meet in Heavan, Tuesdays With Morrie)
In case you're wondering, I'm ithcing to get all of these. Furthermore, X'mas are around the corner and it's the season to give! And it'll be good if you could give me all these little things as I'd appreciate it much! Or you could always get these items for my past 17th birthday present.
I love books. Books produce a far greater amount of adrenaline within my veins and nerves than anything materialistic. I could just indulge myself with books and not realising how much time has passed. Good books made me engrossed with the content and the language usage the author uses to express his ideas and relish his wildest imaginations. Once you're hooked to a good book, you just have to carry on reading and flipping through the pages till you've reached the ending. Good books will keep you on tenterhooks if you still haven't reach the ending part. Your mind wouldn't be in peace and you can't focus or concentrate, cos the itch to continue reading to find out what's going to happen next is there.
And the best feeling of all? To get home and be comfortable and at ease, flip the book open and start reading. And that's..a blissful indulgence.
Notebooks and diaries, the ones with such colourful orgasmic covers, makes me itch to get some ink and pen down beautiful words on the soft grey lines. They are the best remedies to write down your emotions and innest thoughts if you wouldn't want to share them with the world.
The good thing? They made such a perfect gift for me.
